Authentic Balinese beach dinner!
Our group of six chose this over the fancy beach clubs and we made the right decision. Kedonganan feels authentic — real fishermen, fresh catch, simple tables on the sand. We ordered a feast: lobster, tiger prawns, whole fish, squid, and crab. Everything grilled to perfection over coconut charcoal. The prices were very reasonable for the quality. The sunset was spectacular. We stayed for two hours just soaking in the atmosphere. An unmissable Bali experience.

Kids ate more seafood than ever before!
Our children are not big seafood fans at home, but something about eating grilled fish and prawns right on the beach in Bali made it magical. They devoured everything! The atmosphere at Kedonganan is wonderful — local fishermen, the smell of charcoal, the sound of waves. You can watch the sunset while your food is being grilled. The squid was particularly delicious. A wonderful, relaxed family dinner that felt very authentic and local. Highly recommend over the more touristy beach clubs.

The best seafood dinner of our lives
We ended our Bali honeymoon at Kedonganan Beach and it was absolutely perfect. Sitting barefoot in the sand, watching the sun set over the Indian Ocean, eating the freshest grilled prawns and lobster prepared right in front of us — I cannot imagine a more romantic dinner. The Balinese spices on the grilled fish were extraordinary. The ocean breeze, the sound of the waves, the warm golden light — everything was perfect. We will remember this dinner for the rest of our lives.
